One of the smallest villages on the Lizard Peninsula, Cadgwith is secreted in a small cove between The Lizard and Coverack. Its a small village, but thats its charm, and it has all you need for a relaxing holiday or quick visit in Cornwall. There’s a Pub, aptly named The Cadgwith Cove Inn, a fishmongers, craft shop and enough holiday accommodation not only in Cadgwith, but also the nearby areas.

Fishing has always played an important part in Cadgwith and thankfully still does. Pilchard fishing was the catch of yesteryear, but these days has been replaced by Lobster, Crab, Mackeral and a few other specials. An enterprising Cadgwith fisherman runs the local fish shop ensuring you're never without some superbly fresh fish! Fishing boats are dragged up and stored on the beach and as this is a working fishing village, just be aware that common sense is required when it comes to general safety!

The 400 year old pub, The Cadgwith Cove Inn, naturally is the hub of the village and has regular folk and singing nights throughout the year. Its a proper old fashioned Cornish Pub with good food & Cornish beer as well as 6 bed and breakfast rooms.

For the holiday visitor, there are a number of cosy self catering cottages, and a few bed and breakfasts. Beyond the bounds of the village, there are as you would expect, stacks of self catering properties and more B&B's.

Cadgwith, a small but spectacular fishing village at the bottom of the Lizard Peninsula, well worth a visit!
